We spent a lot of time together since we were in 4th grade. She often stood up for me - in my defense. She was like a sister to me. Will miss her smiling face forever. She suddenly passed away in Feb 2009 of a hole in her aorta. She was happily married for 3 months before her untimely passing - to John D. They were good friends of mine and I did not know of their passing. I attended PHS in 1977, 1978 and 1978. I did not graduate with my class of 1980. I was not exactly from the class of '77 though was the Rotary Bicentennial Student Exchange Student from Claremont,California. Fun to recognize names from so many years ago. Am a permanent resident of Melbourne, Australia for the past 21 years. Travelled extensively, lived in Japan for 3 years, am married to a Melbournian with 2 daughers, 18 and 21 who are both attending college in the States. I'm living in Chicago with my husband, who is head of The Latin School. Our oldest, Ben, will be a frosh at Wesleyan this fall, and our daughter, Marian, will be a junior at Choate (where we lived and worked for twenty years....)
